School Committee Votes 6-1 in Favor of Proposed FY 20 Budget

On April 10, 2019 the School Committee voted 6-1 in favor of the proposed FY 20 budget. This budget represents an overall expenditure increase of 5.31% and an overall estimated impact to the mil rate of +$0.79. Please Remember to VOTE!

The proposed FY 18 School Budget still has one more step in the approval process in order to be finalized. Tuesday night, the Town Council voted to approve of the proposed school budget with an overall reduction of $300,000.00, which the School Committee took from our Capital Improvement Lines so as not to impact direct educational programming. The last step in the budget process is the validation referendum scheduled for June 13, 2015. PLEASE REMEMBER TO VOTE! THANK YOU!
