A Heartfelt Thank You & Secret Request

Thank you to all the families who joined us for Parent-Teacher Conferences this past week. It was wonderful to see such a strong turnout. I have received incredible feedback regarding how prepared and caring our teachers were, and how deeply they know your students.

Shhhhh... for Parents and Students only: We would love your help in continuing to show appreciation for our teachers. Please take a minute to write a quick note of thanks to a special teacher (or multiple teachers) by clicking the form link below. Your kind words will be kept a surprise and distributed during Teacher Appreciation Week starting May 5.

  • Actuarial Day at Unum (April 16, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm): Curious about math and risk assessment? Join students across New England to tour the Portland campus, meet the leadership team, and learn about a day in the life of an actuary. Lunch and snacks are provided. Please RSVP by April 6, 2026.

  • FAME Summer Personal Finance Institute (June 22–26): This FREE five-day course at Waynflete School helps students master budgeting, credit, investing, and more. Laptops and snacks are provided.

Celebrating Women’s History Month

Our Advisory groups are engaging in a Women’s History Month project this week. Students will been working in teams to design informative door displays that move beyond "standard" history book figures to highlight excellence in STEM, the arts, and local leadership. We encourage you to ask your students which "Hidden Figures" they discovered during their research.
