As we begin the school year, we are implementing a Bell-to-Bell mobile device ban to minimize classroom distractions and foster an engaging learning environment. To ensure families and students remain connected during the school day when personal devices are off, we are utilizing Reach My Teach alongside our standard communication features.

New Feature: Family Chat Family Chat allows parents and guardians to send critical, time-sensitive updates directly through Reach My Teach during school hours (such as transportation changes, early pickup plans, or appointment reminders).

  • Sending a Message: Log in to Reach My Teach, select your student, write your message in your preferred language, and click Send. You can also choose whether to require an acknowledgement.

  • Message Delivery: The Reach My Teach app will be automatically added to all student iPads. If students have access, they can receive and acknowledge messages directly. If a student is unavailable, authorized front office staff or teachers will receive, acknowledge, and relay the message to the student.

Student Text Alerts & Extracurricular Communication To align with our policy prohibiting direct, private messaging between staff and students via personal accounts or personal cell numbers, we are utilizing Reach My Teach for sports, clubs, and official updates.

  • Student Mobile Numbers in Infinite Campus: We invite students to share their mobile phone numbers with the school to be added to Infinite Campus. This enables students to receive timely text alerts through Reach My Teach outside of school hours—just as parents do—for school emergencies, messages from teachers or coaches, and other important announcements.

  • Student Action Required: Students are asked to download the Reach My Teach app onto their personal mobile devices to easily access announcements and message updates outside of school hours.

Direct Teacher Messaging & Parent Portal

  • Quick Replies: You can respond directly to any message or text alert sent by a teacher by replying directly to that text or email.

  • Parent Portal Access: Log in at www.reachmyteach.com/login using Google, Outlook, or your email/phone number.

  • Managing Conversations: View all messages from educators in one place, filter communications by student if you have multiple children enrolled, or click New Message to reach out to any teacher directly.

Attendance Management

  • Responding to Notifications: If your student is marked absent, you will receive an automated text or email in your preferred language. Click the link in the message to access the School Attendance Report Page and submit an excuse reason.

  • Proactively Reporting Absences: If you know your child will miss school in advance, start a New Message in Reach My Teach, select Attendance, and outline the dates and reason for the upcoming absence.

All Reach My Teach communications automatically translate between English and your preferred home language. Thank you for your partnership as we launch these safety and communication updates!
