Community Spotlight & Campus Updates
Ram Pride in the Community: A huge note of appreciation goes out to members of our Freshman and Sophomore football teams! Michelle Littlefield, owner of Third Space Market on Elm Street, reached out to share how impressed she and local community members were when several of our student-athletes visited the market before a recent game. The players engaged in warm, polite conversations with local senior citizens, leaving a wonderful impression and exemplifying our school values and athletic code of conduct. Thank you for representing Gorham High School so well!
Welcome Back, Mrs. Cifelli & Thank You, Mr. Sawyer! We are thrilled to welcome back Assistant Principal Christina Cifelli following her leave of absence! Please join us in giving her a warm welcome when you see her on campus. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Assistant Principal Marc Sawyer for his dedicated leadership and hard work keeping school operations running seamlessly during Ms. Cifelli's absence.

Advisory
Monday, September 14 — The Can We? Project Introduction: Students will explore the core values of Curiosity, Care, and Courage through the Can We? Project, learning effective strategies for respectful dialogue, active listening, and understanding differing perspectives.
Thursday, September 17 — AI at GHS: Guidelines & Expectations: Advisories will review Gorham High School's district guidelines regarding Generative AI. Students will discuss how to use AI tools ethically and responsibly as learning aids while maintaining academic integrity.
School News & Announcements
Cell Phone & Device Policy: All personal electronic devices must be fully powered down during the school day, not placed in sleep mode or locked with the screen off. Sleeping devices still receive background notifications and create unnecessary distractions. If you need help navigating the power-off settings on an Apple or Android phone, Mr. Parvanta is available in the building to help.
2026–2027 Theater Season Ticketing Policies Tickets for this year's Fall Play go on sale Thursday, October 1st at our.show/brp27wpq8b. Please note the ticket pricing structure for all 2026/2027 GHS theater productions:
General Admission: $14 (purchased online or in person at the door).
Gorham School Department Staff: $10 at the door with Gorham School ID.
Student Class Assignment Tickets: $5 at the door for any student whose class requires or assigns the performance (teachers submit class lists in advance to Joshua Hurd or Jocelyn Miller).
