Help Girl Up "Share the Love" for Maine Needs! From 1/26 to 2/13, the GHS Girl Up chapter is collecting personal care items for women in our community served by Maine Needs. As part of the UN Foundation’s global girl-centered campaign, our students are working to provide everything from basic hygiene essentials to "Minute for Mom" self-care treats.
How to help: Drop off items like body soap, warm socks, or skincare in the school lobbies or outside Ms. Wyatt's room. Let's help our students reach their goal before February break!

Attention all sophomores!! Are you interested in a FREE leadership camp in Raymond this summer from Sunday, June 21st-Wednesday, June 24th?? If so, please come to a brief informational meeting in Mrs. Smith's classroom (portable B1) on Tuesday, February 3rd, after school. The camp is the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Leadership Camp and scholarships are provided to GHS students by the Westbrook-Gorham Rotary Club. There is an application process, which will be discussed at the meeting. If you have a desire to increase your confidence and skill as an individual and leader, you should attend!!

Scholarship Opportunity: The Worthington Scholarship application is available now! Maine high school seniors can apply for up to $20,000 to attend a Worthington partner two- or four-year college in Maine. How to apply: Students can apply directly through their website at worthingtonscholars.org/apply Application period: January 1st through April 15th Draft Feature: Students are now able to save a draft of their application FAFSA Requirement: SAI of 30,000 or less GPA Requirement: C- or higher if attending community college, B- or higher if attending a 4-year college The Worthington Scholarship Foundation awards multi-year scholarships (up to $20,000) to Maine students going to select Maine colleges. This year, they will award 1,000 scholarships. All students who meet their eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply!
