Something Rotten! is a comedic musical farce set in 1595 England about two brothers, Nick and Nigel Bottom, who are struggling playwrights desperate to outdo William Shakespeare. After a soothsayer, named Nostradamus, predicts that the future of theatre will involve singing and dancing, Nick sets out to write the world's first musical, Omelette. This leads to a hilarious and witty mash-up of Elizabethan England and 21st-century Broadway. The show is a "love letter to musical theatre" filled with creative wordplay, historical references, and energetic musical numbers.

This show does have a PG13 rating, as the content may be considered mature for some audience members.
