This year's Maine Youth Wilderness Leadership Program is looking for interested students. We are currently accepting applications with a deadline of February 8. This exceptional opportunity is free and open to Maine high school sophomores or juniors. It includes a nine-day wilderness experience in Baxter State Park working with a variety of specialists and Park staff to better understand wilderness through science, art, storytelling, photography, writing, history and recreation.

The annual All School Talent show will be held next Friday, Dec. 12 at 7:00 in the MPAC. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults. Auditions will be held next Wednesday, Dec. 10 in the Music Room. See Mr. Murray with any questions

GHS social studies students visited Third Space Market for an authentic learning experience with a small local business. Students were curious about the business model and the marketing strategies employed to reach people of different age brackets. Thanks to Third Space Market for hosting our students!
The yearbook club is offering a photography service to seniors who have not yet had their senior photos taken. We want everyone to feel included in the yearbook. This service is free of charge and will be available until December 12. If you are interested, email the Yearbook advisor, Ms. Dolley, and/or Claudette Wesse, Yearbook Editor.
