Mattress Fundraiser in support of the GHS Music Program this Sunday at GHS!

We had a super successful blood drive last week. Thank you to our National Honor Society for hosting, to the Red Cross for your partnership and support, and to all the students and staff who donated blood.

Congratulations to our boys cross country team who raced boldly on a tough cross country course at Cony on Saturday! They placed 4th in Class A and just missed out by one spot as a qualifier for the New England XC Championships as a team! Individually, big shout-out to Owen Cummings for placing 13th, Harvey Crider for placing 16th and Harry Crider for placing 24th! Also, of note, Owen qualified as an individual to compete next weekend at the New England XC Championships in Thetford, Vermont!

Congratulations to Winni Moreland who was named Student of the Quarter in her Automotive Collision program at PATHS! Here is what your teacher said about her: This young lady manages her academics at her High School and PATHS very successfully, is a student athlete at G.H.S. and also is working daily in an Internship at Moody's Collision Center in Gorham. She is also very kind, and considerate, and will always look to help with whatever is needed and looks to complete all work to the highest standards. She will move into full employment with Moody's upon graduation and will have a promising career in the Auto Collision Field. You're doing amazing!

Students in Mrs Paul’s English 9 participated in a “mechanical dissection” to examine the parts, purpose and complexity of simple machines and then made connection to the parts, purpose & complexity of their writing.

If you are donating blood at the NHS blood drive tomorrow, please eat a good breakfast and drink plenty of water. Please arrive at the MPAC by your scheduled time. Plan to spend about 20 minutes after giving blood to enjoy some snacks and relax! Thank you for helping to save a life!
