The Mosher family was one of the first families to settle in Gorham. They have farmed her for over 200 years.

Originally there were some large farms in Gorham - the Mosher farm, the Martin farm, and the Wilson farm. They would be in one family for many years. When the sons and daughters have married, they added onto the house and lived at home on the farm.

The farm has received the first Heritage Farm Award.
