FY26 Budget Priorities

Supporting Teachers

  • Professional development opportunities to help teachers manage increasing

    challenges in the classroom

  • Providing up-to-date resources and tools to ensure student success

  • Maintaining appropriate class sizes and support services

  • Strengthening our HR department to support our 700+ employees districtwide

Updating Facilities

  • HVAC updates at Great Falls and Narragansett Elementary

  • Replacing flooring at Village Elementary

  • Re-paving sidewalks and bike/pedestrian areas at Village and part of Great Falls

  • Much needed Athletic field repairs and updates

  • Technology updates including security cameras and emergency radios for safety

Improving Transportation

  • Separating the position of Transportation Director from Facilities Director and finding the right person to lead the department forward in a sustainable way

  • Investing in bus-routing software which provides turn-by-turn directions for drivers, making their jobs easier and more efficient while also improving communication with families regarding transportation
