GHS students from the Lynx Program went ice fishing today. This picture shows Kayden catching his first fish! Students will now take the fish back to school to learn how to fillet them, and they will learn some fish anatomy along the way! A great learning experience indeed! Level II Certification Complete for Magic School A.I. WOW - the sheer number of tools is incredible for teachers! Soft roll out this spring with teachers...more to come in the Fall of 2026! Stay Tuned!
Working through Magic School Certification Courses. Just completed Level I. So far, loving the tool! A great way to learn about how to best utilize A.I. in classrooms in a safe, structured, and supported way! On to Level II!
For those that wonder how it is possible for total enrollment numbers to go down in Maine's public schools while costs go up - I think this chart does a nice job explaining. While overall numbers go down - NEEDS GO UP- and with increased needs, comes increased costs. These data come from Maine Data Warehouse.

Yesterday, I got to spend the morning shadowing a GHS Junior, Eva Wandell, as she took part in her Automotive class at WRVC. Captured here is her instructor helping Eva and a fellow student remove a Tie Rod. Such an awesome learning experience! Lots of "trial and error", problem solving, creative thinking, and perseverance were all on display! They eventually did get it removed and were rightly proud of their work! I learned a great deal from Eva...so happy she was willing to put up with me and all my questions - and THANK YOU to Gloria Noyes and WRVC for being such gracious hosts!
